2017 in Review

I’ve been writing this post for quite some time when I was back home before focusing on playing KH2FM on PS2 and reading Star Wars: Bloodline. After I caught up with those two, I just didn’t have the time to write this post anymore before 2017 has ended. At early 2018, I started to focus and write, and it got so long and I had to start afresh with this post (because it actually contains a lot about work which could be confidential). So here it is, very briefly:

I started the year in my hometown, waiting to start work. I started work, and finished the entry task ahead of schedule. Things got regular and I spent lots of free time watching TV series. I attended Coldplay’s concert in Singapore National Stadium! I also attended Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour performance in Esplanade Concert Hall. My family visited and I managed to bring them to visit FGS and KMSPKS for Vesak Day celebrations. At mid-year, I moved out and stayed with a roommate. My office moved out from Galaxis building to Ascent building in Science Park, and workload got heavier (but still fun) due to One-Page Checkout feature deadline. My convocation happened, and my parent paid a visit! My 22nd birthday happened. I started to listen to podcasts and meditate daily at bus trip. At the end of the year, I went back to my hometown.

In 2018, I have something to expect:

  • family visit during CNY hopefully will happen
  • mid-year family trip to Canada, to attend my brother’s PhD convocation.

Some hopes for 2018 includes:

  • Be more social
  • Keep being healthy, both physically and mentally
  • Read more books
