Spoiler ahead. Be warned.
- Initial reaction: a different Star Wars. It is unusually opened with a backstory and did not have the rolling narrative.
- Characters name were all new and not used quite often. This makes me not remembering most of the character names. The one I remembered were:
- Jyn Erso
- Galen Erso: Jyn’s father, who is the principal engineer for the Death Star
- The Russian(?) rebel captain
- Bodhi, the defected pilot
- Ip-man (the monk)
- Mad-dog (friend of the monk) :P
- What are you going to do when locked up in a prison? Pray: “I’m one with the Force, the Force is with me” *hahaha*
- All main characters died in the movie.
